REMIND ME BECAUSE I'M AN OLD LADY

if you're going to post a forgotten or a banned book this week. I have about six banned book promises and three forgotten ones on file so far.

Notice the big font. I turn the volume up too. OLD.

Patti,

I'm doing And Tango Makes Three, the picture book that was the #1 banned book last year. And, one reason is was banned is "anti-ethnic." On my blog, I even ask, what ethnicity is a penguin?

I'm not sure what nationality but I think they can see Russia from their ice floe.

Oh, Patti!

That's just too good.

Nothing banned but a forgotten.

Thanks, Bill.

I have my post on To Kill a Mockingbird all set to go Friday morning!

Thanks, Jen. You were one of the ones I had down. I know there's a couple I forgot though.

Patti,

I don't know you like Lesa, however thank you for the Anniversary wishes, and I thought I would die laughing about the ice flow. Maybe Sen. McCain should put Sarah on it?

Best Wishes... Jim

Although as my husband just reminded me when I pointed out my clever quip, penguins are at the South Pole so their eyesight would have to be very good indeed. It's obvious here that science is not my strong suit and if asked which science publications I read, I would be as tongue-tied as Sarah.

Ah, but could you come up with a newspaper, Patti? Washington Post, NYT, LATimes. How about USA Today, if you can't think of anything? Maybe your hometown newspaper? Or the biggest paper in the state where you're governor?
And, she majored in journalism.

I wrote a reaction piece on Tana French's Top Ten Maverick Mysteries article that I'm rolling into tomorrow and very originally calling Friday's Forgotten Mavericks.

You recently asked me if I'd contribute my my review of the derby man as a forgotten book but am unsure how I do this. Do I email it direct to you?

pattinase (abbott) said...

You can do that or you can post it on your site and I will post the link. Whichever is better for you is great. If you do email it to me, past it on the body of the email and it will be easier to get it on here. Blooger hates attachments lately.
Thanks so much. Looking forward to it. My email is aa2579@wayne.edu
