Elmer Bernstein (yes, Lenny's brother), the greatest movie soundtrack writer ever. I saw that because he could score anything, and not make it "sound like" Elmer Bernstein. Classical, jazzy, and--what I consider his tour de force--ANIMAL HOUSE, where he wove college-related music--including Brahms' Academic Festival Overture--into the soundtrack. He was brilliant.

Great theme from a great movie.

It's been in my head since I posted it days ago. Something about it.
