Terrific movie with a tougher edge than most sixties comedies - and the song is marvellous, co-written by Jim Dale, the CARRY ON star who kater played in BARNUM on Broadcway

Another great British black & white movie. By coincidence we were listenng to a folk music collection yesterday and there were two songs by the Seekers on it ("We'll Build a World of Our Own" was one of them) and naturally it made me think of GEORGY GIRL (song and movie). It was one of many movies we saw when we started dating in 1967.

As Bill Crider would say, I miss the old days.

Another classic film I've never seen.

I have never see the movie, but I read the summary at Wikipedia, and it sounds like one of the most depressing movies ever. I'd have to watch Leaving Las Vegas afterwards to cheer myself up.

It isn't, Graham. James Mason and of course Lynn Redgrave make it entertaining.
