Say Something Good About Detroit

Detroit will get $52 million in federal aid to clear out some of the abandoned buildings. Not sure this is exactly a good thing but it has to be a start. Anyone watching LOW WINTER SUN will see what I mean. There are 75,000 buildings waiting demolition. Some are huge factories looming over the freeways. Whoops. I am drifting my purpose here.

Gov. Rick Snyder says something good about Detroit, in his own way I guess.

Detroit and Buffalo have many similarities. Buffalo received some Federal money to knock down abandoned houses, too. But Buffalo has too many failing schools and too much crime for people to want to move there.
