Just gorgeous. This has always been a favorite of mine. My parents used to have an album called "Music From Million Dollar Movies" by Arthur Fiedler & the Boston Pops and "Laura" was one of them.
"She gave your very first kiss to you/That was Laura/But she's only a dream..." [sigh]
I used to love to play this on the piano when I had one. Such a lush chord structure. Challenging and a delight to work your way through the arcing melody.
Nicely edited clip there but it gives away many of the surprises in the movie for someone who's never seen it.

My all-time favorite pop song. A masterpiece unlike any other.

So many movies are guilty of this. And TV shows too.
