I guess I'm the only person in the world who does not find her attractive. I thought she was cute as Storm, but in all the other movies I've seen her in I really just find her freaky looking.
She's rather elfin-looking. She'd be a natural for THE HOBBIT.
She's not a natural actor, which is part of why I was less upset than some (aside from not taking them seriously) when she took the Oscar against Sissy Spacek (IN THE BEDROOM) and Judi Dench (IRIS) because what she did in MONSTER'S BALL was that much more of a stretch for her, though Spacek's was the most impressive performance, all things being equal, in that shortlist, which also included Nicole Kidman in MOULIN ROUGE and a troll doll affecting a British accent in the Bridget Jones thing...probably her best performance, as well, fwiw, unless it's in THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD, which I haven't seen yet.
Thought that might be the last year where I've seen at least some of all five films with best actress nods.

I'm not a huge fan of her as an actor but she is gorgeous.

She needs more direction than the typical actor, I think.
