I'm with Chad on this. One of the best covers ever. Mated with one of the most distinct opening credit sequences in recent film (to a movie that's not getting the respect it deserves, mind you), makes it something special. Thanks, patti.
I'm with Chad and the mighty Leopard. The trailer with this song playing is what made Julia and me want to see the movie. Never had any interest in anything Girl...-related prior. Glad we saw it, love the song. Bought the soundtrack. Good music to write to.
Just the cover version. The movie...I was surprised that I didn't find really significant differences between the H'wood film and the Swedish film. Either one made satisfying viewing for me, although heaven knows Daniel Craig was a more attractive Mikhael. I had a slight preference for Rapace's Lisbeth, but Rooney was very good, too.
interesting ... my wife, who hates most Zeppelin songs (I think it's robert plant), really loved this at the movie house. I am a big Zeppelin fan (first two albums only) and thought the cover was better than the original; reminded me of the start of the movie Seven somewhat.
As to the movie(s); no preference, both were very good. the wife preferred the Craig Blumkvist/I liked the Swedish guy ... both Lisbeth's were terrific. She's a great character.
Liked the first, loved this one. Thought the book the weakest of the three. I think part of it was not reading the subs though. Great music. I may have to buy the sound track.

Clearly I'm totally uncool, because I just saw this film tonight and I started laughing at the cover version.
It sucked me in like a vortex and I never looked back.
Naomi-laughed at this song because you found the movie humorous or just the song?
The soundtrack to the U.S. version of THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO may win an Oscar.
