We've seen Ronnie Spector in concert a couple of times since her "escape" from her crazy ex - in 1988 with Dion and in 1999 in a free concert in Central Park.
I was also a big fan. "Be My Baby" has one of the most recognizable openings of any song. I guarantee you anyone who grew up in the '60's could identify it after the first three notes.

Weren't those girl bands great - (especially at 15) The trauma, the heartbreak - the leader of the pack! Fun memories!
