I remember this film and remember liking it. Hudson, Day and Randall starred in SEND ME NO FLOWERS too and a paperback of the film (don't know which came first) stood on my shelf for many years.
Incidentally, Patti, I won't have a book review this Friday as I'm having my teeth reviewed by the dentist over the next few days.
Doris Day doesn't get enough credit for her part in creating the image of the single "career gal"--one who is beyond the ingenue stage, but still turns heads. Plus, I love the outfits she wore in these movies and the decor in her apartments.
Yes, SEND ME NO FLOWERS was another great one. ROCK really rocked in that one. Looking at the clothes and decor is half the fun. These movies said as much about that era as any made.

You forget how sexy those G-rated movies could be. First shot, Doris Day smoothing the stockings on her legs.
Funny . . .
