This may not be the most romantic of the Doris Day and Rock Hudson movies, but it is one of the funniest. And it is more Rock's movie than Doris'. Made in 1964 it was the final film they made together and it was directed by Norman Jewison. A lifelong hypochondriac, Rock wrongly believes he is dying. Tony Randall lends his usual helping hand as Rock suffers from his misconception but still tries to do right for the soon to be widowed Doris. A very nice performance by Rock in this one. And Doris is always perfect.

I've always enjoyed SEND ME NO FLOWERS. As you say, Rock was great. And Doris Day is perfect.
Judy and I went to see this movie on the night we got engaged, so it's a special favorite of ours.
Not sure I could comfortably watch a comedy in which Rock Hudson believes he's dying.
Thankfully, Ron, it was years before that happened. And he is so robust in this one, you are not worried. And it's all played for laughs.
Patti - Omigosh, I haven't thought of this movie in FOREVER. I'm so glad you're featuring it today. Folks, it's worth a view.
I haven't seen this in decades either.
Jeff M.
This was the first of their films that I saw and was my favourite for ages though I think I prefer LOVER COME BACK now.
I loved Doris and Rock together. Such pep and style. I think Doris bought out a naturalness in Rock that few of his other leading ladies ever did.
I love all of them. I don't enjoy
her one outing with Cary Grant though: A TOUCH OF MINK. Doris as a escort. I don't think so
Also Paul Lynde is very funny as a cemetery plot salesman.
