Happy 4th...Observed. No mail today, banks are closed, and some stores. Western NY is hot and humid today so of course I'll stay in the A/C and get some reading done.

Yesterday was a public holiday for me. I bought some new running/walking shoes and sat in a coffee shop, thinking, for a while.
I listened to Mac Allan Collins's SKIM DEEP and enjoyed it a fair amount. I believe this is his first Nolan novel in several years.
I've been watching Z NATION on Netflix and am on the 2nd season. I enjoy the show because it is easy to just watch without worrying about missing anything.
I started watching Disney's MYSTERIOUS BENEDICT SOCIETY last week but have not gotten back to it. The set design is fantastic and I really enjoyed the series of novels.
