"Night Moves" was the song that broke Seger through as a national, rather than just a regional, star.
I love that verse I quoted the other day..."started humming a song from 1962..." .
His first breakout nationally although he had come close before with Heavy Music, 2 + 2, and Ramblin Gamblin Man.
"NIGHT MOVES" is part of the soundtrack of my youth. Fabulous song! It might be Bob's best!
Such a great song...
That song always reminds me of my last summer in high school. Good times.
An album/CD I've played numerous times. "Still the same" is the favorite track.
It's my favorite of his, I think, though the entire album is excellent. I also love "Down on Main".
