When I hear those early Stevie Wonder songs, the first word that pops into my head is "joy." There's so much joy in his singing and music, you can't help but want to sing and dance along.
I saw him when he was "Little Stevie Wonder" back in his "Fingertips" days. We saw him at Madison Square Garden five years ago. The highlight was when he sang "For Once in My Life" and then brought out Tony Bennett to sing it with him.
Otherwise, Stevie talks way too much for my taste. I want to see singers sing; he spends more time talking than any other performer we've seen.
