I almost wish I did not get what she was talking about. The images are all from Limerick, Ireland instead of Boston but they work well enough. Depression is universal, I guess.
Funny, I just used that song in an ongoing narrative on my alter ego's FB page. Depressions are alike in their aimless blight. I love Sexton's work and thought Gabriel did a brilliant job of both capturing and interpreting the poem.

Even just having access to that recording (I listened while finishing up work) is good stuff...shall have to look at the images sometime.

A haunting song I've listened to many, many times...it makes the sentiment of the poem almost bearable... thanks.
Patti - Such a powerful set of images and the song carries it along. Haunting....
