The thing that makes Roy Rogers a hero to me is that he and Dale cared for hurting children. They have a foundation to help support a home for hurting children. They themselves adopted hurting children. They suffered when those children suffered or died.
Roy and Dale were good people. They deserve to be remembered.
I grew up on them. They seemed like a great family.
