Happy birthday. Mom. And wishing you the happiest of memories of her.

That's a very nice tribute to your mother!

Wow, there is a strong resemblance, especially in the first picture.

For those who don't know, we're in Fort Myers until tomorrow and had dinner with Patti yesterday. Today we'll be going back to Edison's House, then will return to the East Coast tomorrow. Patti goes home on Friday.

I listened to Heather Levy's WALKING THROUGH NEEDLES. A good novel with some very creepy sections. I started listening to Hammett's THE GLASS KEY last night and realized I'd re-read the novel within the past year or two. May as well listen along anyway since it is a entertaining story.
I drove #1 back to MN over the weekend. He drove all the way from home to campus and there was plenty of wet, slippery snow and slow driving. After we unloaded the van and I was leaving I said I did my best not to critique or give suggestions on his driving. From his POV it may have felt like I was constantly complaining.
I restarted watching THE WALKING DEAD. I'm on season 3, so there are plenty more episodes to entertain me. Also started watching ANDOR on Disney+. I kept thinking Andor was the name of a planet and not a person.

I agree with Jeff, the resemblance in that first picture is very striking. Thanks for sharing the photos. My mother's hundredth birthday would be in 4 years, in 1927.
