His house burned down in Texas today, reminding me again of James Reasoner's plight of last year. Travis is the creator of My Town Monday.
Please think of him and his wife and small children. They are all safe but temporarily homeless. What a start to 2009.

Does he need anything? Clothing? Books? School supplies for his children? Please let him know, I would be happy to send it along to him and that he and his family are in my family's prayers.
My symapthies - what doesn't kill us makes us stronger and I'm sure, with help and support, they will all bounce back. This happend to me about ten years ago and I know how heartwrenching it is - take comfort from your friends, both immediate and in the virtual community.
Hard as it is to believe, our fire was a little less than a year ago. It seems like a whole other lifetime, though! We've come through it pretty well, I think (thanks to the amazing number of people who helped out!), but it's still a life-changing event. My heart is really with Travis and his family today.
