Shred of Evidence

I have a story up at Shred of Evidence:

(Thanks, Megan)

And I also took second place in the "Skeletons in the Closet" contest at Mysterical E.

Sorry to be about me, me, me today. Tomorrow we can talk about you.

One other things, do the checkers at Trader Joe's in your neck of the woods seem cult-like or is it just mine? (cult-like in a good way)

This subject of cult-like checkers is worth exploring in greater detail. The phenomenon may be more widespread than we think!

We're the only ones up now, Peter. Maybe people seem cult-like when you're sleep deprived.

I've spent an enjoyable morning reading Patti Abbott stories. The one at Shred and your contest story at Mysterical E. Congrats on your publications. It's always fun reading when I run across one of your stories.

Wow, I didn't even Mysterical E had taken the story much less entered it into a contest. Nice Monday surprise. And thanks Sandra. You know I regard your comments as those of the highest order.

Patti: Good stuff as always.

You'll soon have enough stories for an anthology after your first couple of books get picked up...
Just sayin', ya know?

Ever the optimist. And it it happens I'm coming up for a Halo burger to celebrate.

I work late, and I went to bed right after I posted the comment! I have a tendency to regard people cheerful about their work as cultlike, hence my interest in your post.

You know in our neck of the woods, TJ'es employees are not just cheerful, they seem to be on uppers. They talk fast, pack fast, check fast and engage you in conversations at the same time. One guy last week, demonstrated how to get the most out of the beer while blowing up balloons for...well, I don't know who. I never saw them.
