Have you seen his documentary? He comes off as smart and likable and properly melancholy about all the things he wasted in his stardom. I like so,e of his songs very much.

No, but I will look for it. He came to Megan's book signing in NY and the place went crazy. BUGSY MALONE was her favorite record as a kid. She went through multiple copies.

A seventies fixture! Always popping up on Mike Douglas, Merv Griffin, Johnny Carson, etc. and seemed to write songs for everyone--my favorite was 3 Dog Night's "Family of Man." Then all of a sudden, he was gone!

Yeah, he really fell of the edge of the Earth. I wonder why. Maybe he's still writing songs.

I always liked this song. Now I live where there are LOTS of rainy days along with the standard number of Mondays.
