I LOVE this movie. The ending I'd written for my fist PI novel felt flat, but I had nothing better. By chance I happened to see this and it solved my problem. A great movie, with great performances.

I like this movie too, and I feel ashamed to have never read the book, given the Missoula ties of the author, James Grady.

It's a great last scene Patti, really memorable, but I always hated it (in a good way I suppose) - makes an ironic counterpoint to ALL THE PRESIDENT'S MEN though!
