Well, you nailed it.

Human nature is so interesting. Walt and Dexter both seem to unravel like Napoleon because of weird notions of family. Jesse could have left and taken care of things from afar -- as could've Dexter, after settling in Argentina. But as Napoleon had his Spain, and his Russia, and the world moved on, so too with these series.

I would have liked it more if the music didn't drown out the reader in the second part. That aside, I've always liked this piece a lot.
