I get chills every time I hear it.

I hope you don't mind another Kyle story, Patti. But he loved this show (as I do) and his mom asked for the music to be played at the funeral. As I walked into the funeral home, this music was playing. Chills as Kelly said.

A few people, like me, think this renowned opening piece by Angelo Badalamenti, titled 'Falling', was a riff on Henry Mancini's theme song for Blake Edwards film, 'Experiment in Terror'. And where does the film's character of Kelly live in San Francisco? That’s right, Twin Peaks.

I see similarities. Had forgotten that movie until now. I will use it on here soon.
I love the music but at a funeral I think I would go to pieces hearing it. Brave woman to play it. What a great friend he had in you, David.

Patti - That was such an innovative series. Thanks for the reminder.

I'm another of the true blue fans of this utterly strange TV show. I have quite a few of Badalamenti's soundtracks. The one for THE STRAIGHT STORY (Lynch's most un-Lynch-like movie) is a particular favorite.

The whole Twin Peaks soundtrack is great. Back in the early 90s I practically wore the CD out listening to it.

Composer Angelo Badalamenti appeared in Lynch's MULHOLLAND DRIVE as the coffee-spitting man.
