Yep, my favorite scene…well, that and the 'Beauty School Drop-out'…in the film. "You're the One That I Want" was not part of the original stage play, btw. Written specifically for the film by John Farrar.

The original show - which we saw off-Broadway at the Eden Theater on 2nd avenue with Barry Bostwick and Adrienne Barbeau was so far superior to this movie that they aren't - IMHO - even worth putting in the same sentence.

Hey Patti: How many fans realize that Olivia stepped out of her "Element" in creating this role? Travolta has amazing moves. Hardly believable from his "Welcome Back Kotter" days. And, don't forget "Saturday Night Fever" which launched the Disco Era. Yours truly, Toe.
