That was just one of many country crossovers to the pop charts that made it big in the early 1960's. Her followup song, "I Can't Stay Mad at You," was yet another hit written by Carole King & Gerry Goffin, one of five top ten songs they had in 1963.

"I Can't Stay Mad at You" was a little more upbeat musically, but it was one of the songs Jackie makes fun of - you cheat on me with other women, tell me lies...but I can't stay mad at you.
