Love it.
One of my favorite WA movies.
Wonderful how he takes the fear that nothing has meaning and makes it funny, yet without denying it.
Patti - Oh, Woody Allen has created some of the most memorable funny moments! Thanks for the reminder.
Before the movie was the stage show, which we saw - Woody and Tony Roberts starred - back in 1969, when we were all much, much younger. Great stuff.

I'd have loved to see this one.
This is the Woody Allen I most enjoy. The later, not-so-funny Woody...not so much.
In looking it up, it says Diane Keaton was in the show too, but I honestly have no memory of it.
We also saw his earlier DON'T DRINK THE WATER, which Woody wrote but didn't star in. (It was Tony Roberts again, and Lou Jacobi.)
