I've been woefully out of the 'movie loop.' I need to see some of these.

Didn't see a single one of these. Some do look like things I'd like, though

I have seen all of these except Boyhood. Didn't much care for Under the Skin or Locke. And Snowpiercer was a big disappointment for me-I so wanted to like it but the underpinings of what was happening didn't seem logical to me. I would have added The Drop and Intersteller.

THE DROP would be 11.

Patti, I'm afraid I haven't seen any of these movies though some of them look good.

I rented SNOWPIERCER on DVD last month but I turned it off. I love Chris Evans as an actor but I thought the story was incomprehensible and filled with mindless comic book style violence. Not for me at all.

THE BABADOOK is here at the Music Box Theater and I'm going to see it tomorrow afternoon.

Planning to see INTO THE WOODS? I loved it. Still powerful and heartwrenching. I was surprised by some of the performances, especially Chris Pine and Emily Blunt. Streep of course is a powerhouse in the role of the Witch. This movie version may just turn this musical into an allegory for post 9/11 life.

I'm really looking forward to THE BABADOOK. This foreign movies always arrive in Buffalo late and leave in a week. INTO THE WOODS is our next movie choice.
