Patti: What made you think of this?Particularly enjoyed "Magnificent Seven." Westerns were simple morality plays. Good vs. Evil, etc. After a while, in this day and age of high tech and low politics, they became outmoded as being too simple. Yours truly, Toe.
Love the music and that's why it is on here. I wasn't a regular watcher of the show as I was pretty busy with school activities over those years but I loved the Peter Breck character and the Lee Majors one. Although they both were hothead brawlers with hearts of gold if I remember it correctly. And I would watch Barbara in anything.

Whoo! I think this was practically MY theme song during the middle school years. I have reason to believe that I knew the incidental music too.
So, who was your favorite of the Barkleys? My sister and I diverged.

I liked this show quite a lot, although not as good as Bonanza and Gunsmoke. Great music for sure. Lots of these westerns had really stirring music.
