I gasped. She had such soul and passion back in the day. Thanks for the news...albeit sad news.

Such a sad life.

Sorry to hear about this. I loved her song "Poetry Man" and the song she did with Paul Simon, "Gone at Last."

Brings back memories of a time and place I'd almost forgotten...Hard to believe the world was like this once. Thanks.

Her voice is so distinctive. And never whiny!

You need to look for the CD of The New York Rock & Soul Revue, with Snow doing a great version of the Etta James classic "At Last" and dueting on Eddie Floyd's "Knock on Wood" with Michael McDonald.

We saw her as a "guest star" with McDonald and Steely Dan a few times in the last several years and she always sounded great.

This is a real shame.

Loved Phoebe Snow. She's another underrated artist. As Jeff Meyerson says, 60 is too young.

I know Linda is still around but I miss the music she did before she moved over to big band and then Latin music. Phoebe's voice could break your heart.
