I made a late celebration of Patti Day by picking up the second THUGLIT anthology at a B&N last night (while picking up my usal complement of magazines--THE NORMAL SCHOOL is only $5, before Member Discount, and if the Cali state budget cuts haven't already killed it, it might weill make a good contemporary-mimetic and borderline cf market for you--and making a choco cake run for Alice, while she followed MAMMA MIA with FARGO)...which, I belatedly note, is keeping them in the General Anthologies rather than "Mystery" section, which might or might not suppress sales (I think the un-reasoning is that they, with that online magazine title, sound like Street Lit anthos).
Patricia Abbott is the author of more than 125 stories that have appeared online, in print journals and in various anthologies. She is the author of two print novels CONCRETE ANGEL (2015) and SHOT IN DETROIT (2016)(Polis Books). CONCRETE ANGEL was nominated for an Anthony and Macavity Award in 2016.
