Thanks for your kind words on my blog. I love being a father. Later today, I'll Facebook PORTAL with Patrick and Katie. I think about my father every day.
We have had a good Father's Day weekend. Yesterday early we went to the Rose Garden across from the Santa Barbara Mission and took lots of photographs, the kind of outing my husband enjoys. And last night we had take out for dinner, and tonight my son will cook for Glen (and me). First photo excursion we have done since the stay at home orders started mid-March, except for a couple of walks on the bike path near our home. I miss my father (and my mother).
My father has been dead for 9 years and I think about him everyday. Same for my mother (11 years). So many questions have arisen since their deaths, I just wish I had asked more when they were here to answer.

If we're lucky our fathers will always be with us, even if they're gone. Have a good day, Patti.
