So happy things are going well, Patti. As for me? The Eagles won the Super Bowl. Yeah, that makes me happy!

I posted this before that happened. Must add.

The weather here has turned cold and snowy, but we're healthy (lots of flu in the area, though).

Just finished reading four books last week. All good!

Surprised about the Eagles winning the Super Bowl! Yea!

1. This weekend's snow was nice.
2. We had about 7" of snow and I am glad yy snowblower started working again after it died and I let it sit a bit.
3. We had to buy a new clothes dryer. But, the good news is that old one died on a Friday and we were able to buy, pick-up, and install a new dryer on Saturday.
4. Our town's annual trivia event was Friday and my team earned 2nd place. We always earn 2nd but it pays for the bar bill afterwards.
5. Yesterday's Boy Scout meeting focusing on 1st aid went well and the boys learned from it.
6. I'm almost entirely over the flu except for being a bit stuffed up with an intermittent cough.

The weather here is crappy. Snowy and cold.
Got a lot of reading done.
Loved Babylon Berlin on Netflix. Sorry when it ended.
Saw Hostiles and loved it. Saw Winchester and hated it.
Have avoided any colds so far this season. Knock on wood.

Glad you are surviving the cold. Rejoining you on the 24th.

- Really excited for you for that PW review!
- NOT happy about the Super Bowl, the officials decided the game.
- Finished the Nero Wolfe Arnold Zeck novels by Rex Stout and enjoyed them a lot. The terrific review by Yvette in her "In So Many Words" blog led me to re-read them. Glad I did!
- It's warmed up some (40s, 50s) and the rain has stopped for a week or so, which means we can start prepping the garden some. The weather has fooled the daffodils and other plants into thinking it's Spring, though. Hope we don't get a hard freeze.
- The Crocuses are up.

Oh, yeah, I saw that PW review after your daughter posted a link. That a was very complimentary piece.

I'm glad Rick mentioned it because now I can put it on order for work.

Pro-Tip: search Patricia, not Patti.

I'm more glad that the Patriots lost than that the Eagles won (as a Giants fan), but yes, I was happy. And mostly, I was happy that it was such an exciting, good game. (And no, I don't agree with Rick's assessment.)

Really enjoyed LADY BIRD, definitely more than Jackie did. She has it rated #5 of the 5 movies we've seen so far, though she did like it.

The Florida weather, even when it's not that great, is so much better than New York in winter, and mostly it has been much better than that.

We've had no worse than the occasional day of not feeling that great (Jackie is having that now), but overall we're good.

Good books, good movies, good food, good weather. We're lucky to be here.

The Patriots won the super Bowl! Wait. Oh, that only happened in my fevered imagination. Never mind.

Youngest granddaughter turned 16. She's gone from a squalling baby to a giggly little girl to a beautiful young lady in the blink of an eye.

Dunkin' Donuts.

Binge watched (and re-binging the first few seasons) all five seasons of RIPPER STREET. We're now deciding what our next binge-a-thon will be.

Because Kitty has had both knees replaced and they are still wonky, she was unable to undergo a treadmill stress test. Instead, this morning she had a nuclear stress test, a three-hour process that she aced despite her claustrophobia. She is a brave little soldier and I'm very proud of her.

We kept the colder weather up here on the Florida Panhandle so you snowbirds could enjoy yourself. No thank yous are necessary, but please note our tip jar as you leave the state.

Hope you have another fantastic week!
