On Hiatus Until After Bouchercon

If you are in Raleigh, please make yourself known to me. Or come to my panel on CRIME IN THE METROPOLIS on Friday at 1:00. Let's have a drink or coffee.

Todd will do FFB next week. Thanks, Todd.

Oh, and this. Listen to Me Marlin on Crimespree Magazine

We'll be there on Wednesday. Jackie is looking forward to that barbecue place.

I'll be arriving at BOUCHEROCN on Wednesday. I'd like to take you and Phil out to dinner if you have an opening on your Dance Card. I will, of course, attend your panel.

I'll be there in spirit, wearing my Envy Green coveralls. Have fun.

I haven't been to a Bouchercon since #IV, over forty years ago. Have fun. Go wild, but don't get your name printed in the Raleigh News & Observer's Police Blotter.

It is not pure joy for me, Mathew. I am comfortable online and in small groups but this one overwhelms me.

#4 was a long time ago. The first one I went to was the first New York one in 1977, followed by Chicago in 1978, my introduction to classic deep dish pizza.

Relax, have fun, write home (meaning how about a post or two here from the con?). We wish we could be there, but it's too far away (as is next year in New Orleans). Remember you're a mystery novelist now, so put on some swagger.

Doubt I can get up an posts without a computer but I will keep notes for my return
Wait too late to develop a swagger but I will try to at least not hide in the ladies room.

I won't be there, either. I wish I could. Maybe, if tonight's lottery is a winner, I'll change my plans.

Impossible to attend though I very much wish I could. Travel safe and have fun.
