About Me
Patricia Abbott is the author of more than 125 stories that have appeared online, in print journals and in various anthologies. She is the author of two print novels CONCRETE ANGEL (2015) and SHOT IN DETROIT (2016)(Polis Books). CONCRETE ANGEL was nominated for an Anthony and Macavity Award in 2016. SHOT IN DETROIT was nominated for an Edgar Award and an Anthony Award in 2017. A collection of her stories I BRING SORROW AND OTHER STORIES OF TRANSGRESSION will appear in 2018.
She also authored two ebooks, MONKEY JUSTICE and HOME INVASION and co-edited DISCOUNT NOIR. She won a Derringer award for her story "My Hero." She lives outside Detroit.

I remember seeing an interview with a very frail, but still sharp, Bette Davis who was asked what she thought of this song and she paused for a moment and then said, "Well I'm glad they didn't choose to sing about any other part of my anatomy!"
My first 45 I ever bought was "Crazy in the Night" from Kim Carnes. My second was "Glory Days" from Bruce Springsteen. For those keeping the records.
Oh, I remember her! Thanks, Patti - a unique voice and style.
I like this song quite a lot.
I really like the song. But this is a great example of the uselessness of music videos, as the visual adds NOTHING to the audio, only detracts from enjoying the song.
