I'll try. All I can think of right now is that Obama is going down like Kerry in 2004.

Have a great time on vacation. Some names on that list surprised me, but I am a huge fan of Nugent, Seger and Kid Rock.

I'm not sure what you're basing your Obama fears on. Can you explain?

And you forgot Lily Tomlin.

Her picture is on the top of the post. I'm seeing some data that shows the race tightening up. He'a apparently lost the bump he got from the recent trip. And reading Ed Gorman's blog, which I got to stop doing if it looks political.

Patti, you said once there wasn't anything nice about Detroit...but there is. Look at all these talented people who were born there. I always loved George Peppard in Breakfast at Tiffanys and the Blue Max...sigh.

There are nice things about Detroit. The people are nice--they're in a survivor's state of grace. But how many of the people on this list stayed in Detroit. Elmore Leonard and Rosa Parks. Do Torontoans stay there or go on to other cities? Other countries?

Have a great holiday! That is quite a list!

That explains why Tom Selleck was always wearing a Tigers ballcap in Magnum PI! And Seger is a big favorite in my world. Have a nice vacation.

What a list! It's kind of interesting to see from where folks hail. Have a great vacation. Going anywhere interesting?
