For the Love of Grover
Anyone else have a 20 month old who can't get enough of Grover? The rest of the Gang can go to the dogs. It's Grover he yearns to watch on our computer. Is it Grover's high-pitched voice. Is it that Grover always seesms somewhat mystified? Or does he just like to sit our Poppop's lap and watch Grover all day long?

For my boys it was more Elmo than Grover. I'm more of an Oscar the Grouch man myself.
Patti (and adorable grandson),
I'm with Travis, I love Oscar, or I am Oscar, I forget which!
Although all of my grandkids watched Sesame Street, and the twenty-three month old still does, no one surfaces in my memory as a big Grover fan. There was a big Elmo fan, but I forget which grandkid that was. My son, however, adored Cookie Monster. All together now:
"C is for Cookie . . ."
Terrie
I actually try to avoid Sesame Street now... it's become so insipid compared to the old series.
Both my boys love Scooby-Doo, and Puck is really into Thomas the Tank Engine, which I suspect we'll get into even more once his big brother goes to school next week!
My son loved Bert and Ernie but Kevin doesn't like human-looking puppets. We got out all our old Smurfs for him, which he politely put back in the box, put the lid on and put a book on the lid. No more Smurfs anytime soon.
Oscar is tolerated when he sings C is for Cookie but his favorite is Feist singing 1,2,3,4.
