He has moved into a class by himself. and is so good that he throws lesser performances off--as he did in Charlie Wilson's War. I can't think of any actor so able to inhabit a part. And frankly, he cannot count on a pretty face to help him. Maybe that's the point, too. I would like to see him receive both the best and best supporting Oscars this year. Also wonderful was Laura Linney and Philip Bosco. What a terrific movie. A- and only because of the tacked on upbeat ending.
