Jeff Meyerson said...: November was a big month for short stories here - 87 read (the most since 88 in March) and 6 more collections or anthologies finished. Just read the Andrea Camilleri collection of "Early Montalbano Stories" and enjoyed it. I will be sad to finish the series now that the last book is on the way to the library. I mentioned my disappointment with the Hilma Wolitzer collection last time. I finished it (TODAY A WOMAN WENT MAD IN THE SUPERMARKET) and thought that the last story (written when she was 90), "The Great Escape," was one of the best in the book, dealing with the current pandemic.; 9:00 AM
