Patti, you should consider getting a GERERAC natural gas generator. We've had one for about 10 years and have last power a dozen times. But the GENERAC provided electricity until power was restored. The rest of our street was dark, but we had lights and heat. Plus, it gives you peace of mind.
It's back. I would get one if I thought I would be staying in this house for more than another year. I have heard there are long waiting lists right now.
I know George loves his natural gas generator, but one of our neighbors got one two years ago and it was VERY, VERY expensive! So sorry you lost power again!
