Great minds think alike. We just brought up all the Christmas stuff (including the tree) from the basement. Now, we have to deploy all the decorations and assemble the tree. But, no snow yet. Only rain.
My Christmas tree and decorations have been up since late October, i always turn Christmas into a ten or eleven week binge right up to early January (food, alcohol, movies, presents, etc, etc.)...ah Christmas...what a gloriously fantastic time it is.
Slightly too soon i think Patti, if memory serves me right the 12 days of Christmas run from December 24th to January 4th so the decorations should`nt come down until the 5th, although in my house some of them are still up at Easter ! ! !...ha..ha...i like to really maximize my Christmas magic.
I remember a cat taking down a tree in one swoop when I was a kid. I think 30 days is about right but I am always glad to be done with it shortly after Christmas. I need to move on.

Yes, you are.
Nice one. But that's Phil all the time.
Can't say I listen to Christmas music. Having spent some time working retail I got burned out on it quite a while ago.
Getting started early, eh? Good for Phil to help, and play the music. Is it choral?

The day after Thanksgiving for me. As a child, it was Christmas Eve and down the day after NY. Too soon.
No tree (we have three cats) but the spousal unit strung the lights and the garland today.
Maybe if we put the tree on the front porch, like the lady we know with four Malinois and a pit bull.
