Chicago has this program at the Music Box Theater. This is how we saw Benedict Cumberbatch and Jonny Lee Miller in that amazing production of FRANKENSTEIN. We also saw THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG... two full years before it showed up on Broadway. As much as I dislike videotaped theater productions (the antithesis of what live theater is about) the program certainly allows you the luxury of being exposed to high quality British productions of plays that may never be produced in the US anywhere.
We just saw BRIGHT STAR and THE HUMANS in New York. And that was certainly better. But some of these actors paired with these plays would never come our way. Maybe yours more in Chicago though. I am coming there for PRINTER'S ROW in June. Maybe we can meet up.
