thanks for that video. I saw them as an opening act for Herman's Hermits in the 60's. I'll have to check my vinyl to see if I still have a Flo and Eddie lp.

It was a big, big hit my junior year in high school. Both the Turtles and the Monkees charted for the last time (at least in their original runs) two years later in summer 1969, Turtles with "You Don't Have to Walk in the Rain," Monkees with "Listen to the Band."

I saw Kaylan and Volman in Portland about a decade ago. They still had it. I always liked their sound. But why is it these things always have the lips moving out of sync to the music?

Actually, it's called just "Happy Together"...their next biggest hit, iirc, as the Turtles, was the Byrds cover "You Showed Me"...which was later covered by Salt N Pepa in one of their fine rap variations on older hits.
