How I loved this movie. It's a shame that the author of the original book has had a really difficult time substantiating his history. Seems a con artist isn't always honest about his past.
Patti, "terrific credits" I agree. One of two Tom Hanks films I like a lot, the other being THE TERMINAL also directed by Spielberg. Other good opening credits that come to mind are from the early PINK PANTHER and JAMES BOND films.
Patricia Abbott is the author of more than 125 stories that have appeared online, in print journals and in various anthologies. And these are terrific credits, so 1960s.
