I LOVE YOU, MAN

I had the most visitors ever to my site yesterday.

Almost 500 individuals stopped by. I am so happy your stories: brilliant and beautiful, got the recognition they deserved.

Thanks for the fun. I think we topped the "Wedding Cake in the Middle of the Road" challenge.

Walmart will never be the same.

Please enter your story in a contest or publish it somewhere where it gets the wider audience it deserves.

Well, thanks for encouraging literacy.

Anyone could produce a chapbook of these...

I'm thinking....

I'd suggest a title along the lines of WALMARTINS or WALMARTIANS rather than I LOVE YOU, WAL*MART...just to avoid any sort of hassle...

It was a lot of fun, so thank YOU Patti for coordinating, along with Aldo and Gerald, too; and the suggestion made by Steve & Keith...great group effort. I'm in awe of the talent that was displayed yesterday. I think Twitter was a big help in getting the word out. Congrats on such a successful turnout!

I was able to get around to a few of the stories and they were entertaining and spot on poignant in most... Oh, and your lady reading today stopped me dead in my tracks.

Post Script: I'm definitely game for a chapbook.

That woman reader looks like she should be on my blog, Patti.

I put her there for your enjoyment.

And congratulations on breaking the 500 visitor limit on your blog, Patti! That's quite an accomplishment!

500 entries? Wow! Well done.

500 guests not entries. Yikes, the thought of getting all those links in place.

The hits may keep coming, Patti, I see Galleycat has picked up the story here.

Thanks are due to you, Patti, for the idea and providing a forum. This was a blast to write, and I think the overall caliber of stories is the best yet.

Congratulations. I haven't had a chance to read all of them yet, but I will in the next few days. I'd love to take part in the next festivity.
