I went to the ophthalmologist to make sure my kaleidoscope vision was not a detached retina. It wasn't but my dilated pupils keep me from doing this today. Take care.
You, as well. I have all sorts of nagging things I need pros to Look At, none debilitating by themselves, but together slowing me down of late. And I'm not a speed demon at the best of times.
In the FWIW dept., the episode of MATLOCK broadcast on Thursday was pretty brilliant, even for those who'd found the dragging out of the investigation/trickery getting to be a bit tiresome. All kinds of chickens found their way home. THE PITT's season finale and a good ELSBETH made for a fine night's worth of drama, even before the comedian mockery of the latest Drumpf offenses (for me, THE DAILY SHOW, Colbert, Kimmel, Meyers and the sadly soon-gone AFTER MIDNIGHT...as always, supplemented by HAVE I GOT NEWS FOR YOU US, SNL and particularly "Weekend Update", and LAST WEEK TONIGHT)...and WAIT, WAIT and LE SHOW from public radio...
To take the more serious approach, it is always worth checking when you are worried about a detached retina. Glen had retinal tears on both eyes for years, starting when he was 50, that had to be repaired. He has a retina specialist he still sees annually. And dilation often puts me out for the day which is very annoying.

I think I read DILATED PUPILS. Wasn't it a Stephen King novel about bad things happening to schoolchildren? Meanwhile, rest and take care.

I think you're thinking of the famous first line of the one collaboration between James Hilton and Robert Heinlein: "The pupil dilated."
I saw Dilated Pupils open for Zappa.

And I see CBS is wrapping up the series on 17 May. Rather a pity, if not quite as much as the end of AFTER MIDNIGHT.
If only they opened more widely, so others could see them, however blurrily.
16 May, speaking of blur.
Thanks, guys. Spring is never a good time for my body with the plethora of pollen. And this year seems worse.
