I hope you have as good a holiday as you can, with Megan helping. I remember what an exciting day this was when I was a child. The tree and lights, the family gathered, some gifts wrapped and under the tree, with more to appear by Christmas morning! As a grownup, it's not the same, and it's just the two of us, but we try, and it will be a nice day today and tomorrow. Relaxing, full of books and looking out at the rain (wish it was snow) and good food. I always play The Nutcracker on Christmas Eve.
As a friend, I give you a long-distance hug and wish you the best.
Thinking about you and your family this holiday season, Patti. Hope you have lots of good food, good company, and good books as you share happy memories and make some new ones.
