Sandra Seamans served the writing community selflessly by posting contests and calls for stories on her blog, MY LITTLE CORNER. She wrote wonderful stories herself until the dual deaths in 2015 of her husband and mother. She never bounced back from her grief. I am sure she died before her time due to that blow. A collection of her stories was published as an ebook by SNUBNOSE PRESS but when the press closed, her ebook disappeared. Some are lucky enough to have it on their e-reader.

So incredibly sorry to hear this. I love her work.
A lovely woma. God bless
Oh, good heavens, Patti! I had no idea she was even ill. I did notice she hadn't posted in two weeks, but this is vacation time, so that didn't seem too unusual. She was indeed a treasure for lovers and writers of short crime fiction (and other genres, too), and I will always be grateful for her hard work and the many leads she shared with us (and I benefited from a few).
Oh my gosh, no. So so sorry to hear this. She was a tireless supporter of writers. Such a shame. She will be missed
She will be greatly missed.
I am just stunned. I had no idea she was ill or anything.
When I first started writing crime fiction she--like you--was a supporter. I published a couple of her stories in DARK VALENTINE Magazine, and her story, "The Memory Keeper" in the charity anthology NIGHTFALLS. She was a lovely perso and her blog was one of the first stops on every morning. This is very sad news.
So sorry to hear this!!
Sorry to hear that. What a great short story writer she was.
She was plugging along till 16 May, in terms of the blog. So sorry for those who knew her better than I did, as a slight acquaintance.
A few fewer dear losses would be good about now.
Sandra was such a lovely, kind person, and a talented writer. So many of us will miss her.
Sorry to hear this. She was special to so many of us on the web.
Stunned doesn’t do this news justice.
We've attend three wakes and funerals this week. What is happening??? So many of our friends are dying!
I was sad to hear this. We never met in person but enjoyed her blog, which was a great service to the writing community.
This is very sad. Her blog was the first thing I looked at in the morning.
I'm shocked and very sad to hear this too. She was incredibly generous and helpful to so many of us.
I'm stunned and saddened. 'Selfless' is the first word I would use to describe Sandra. There's no filling her shoes.
