Interesting. According to Celebrity Heights, Bogart was 5'8" and Bergman 5'9". I guess they wanted him to look taller.
Couldn't they just make special shoes? This looks like a recipe for disaster.

I take it back. The article with the DeNiro photo says he was playing a guy who was 6'4".
