A true classic. Jake Carey died in 1997. Zeke Carey (adopted cousin, apparently) died in 1999. We saw them perform at Do Wop concerts in the '80s and '90s and they were great still.

As Bill Crider would say, I miss the old days.

I'm in the minority here. Does nothing for me. I don't care for doo wop. Rate it right up there with barbershop quartets.

Back during my 30-year career as a musician, I had the personal pleasure of backing up the Flamingos for a show in Miami. They still had four of the original guys and man, were they great singers! Smooooooooth, baby.
