I read THE PRICE OF SALT by Patricia Highsmith ) and BROOKLYN by Colm Toibin ((read the books before I saw the movies based on them). I have Megan's book on the Read Real Soon stack.

Megan's book was on my list too, as was BROOKLYN and the Berney.

My list will be up Friday, I'm hoping you'll put the link into the FFB posting, since all but one are books older than current...

I should do this too. I read some pretty good books this year and thanks to goodreads I can access them.

I have only read one of the books on your list...but Lou Berney's THE LONG AND FARAWAY GONE will also be making my own best of list for this year (when I get around to finishing it). There are several here that I really want to read though...so little time

I don't know anyone who didn't like the Berney book. I will post it, Rick.
I should use goodreads more. I do lose track of what I read, which is why I started posting books I liked on the blog.

Oh my goodness, I haven't read any of these - YET. But am adding the titles to my TBR list. I'll be posting my own Favorite Books of the Year for tomorrow's FFB list, Patti. Don't hold it against me. HA!
