Excellent choice! I'm a big fan of Seger. We've seen him in concert at Jones Beach and a couple of times at Madison Square Garden. In one of the latter he was joined on "Old Time Rock & Roll" by Sprinsteen, which was pretty cool.

Saw Seger a lot in his early days. He was playing with Doug Brown and the Omens at the time. Than it was Bob Seger and the Last Herd. Was at Cobo Hall when he recorded his very successful Live album. Spirit was the opening act. Haven't seen him recently. I think living in the Detroit area he got a bit overplayed for my tastes.
We Got Tonight got used very effectively on Ray Donovon last sunday.

That's what made me think of him, Steve.

"I woke last night to the sound of thunder,
How far off, I sat and wondered,
Started humming a song from 1962,
Ain't it funny how the night moves?"
